Frequently asked questions
Direct answers to common engineering, lead time, and certification questions.
What information is needed to quote a custom VFD panel?
Provide motor nameplate HP, full load amps (FLA), supply voltage/phase, enclosure NEMA rating, preferred drive manufacturer, and any required options like bypass contactors, line reactors, or fieldbus networks.
What are standard lead times for custom VFD panels?
Standard builds ship within 2 to 4 weeks following drawing approval. Fast-track builds are available depending on component stock and enclosure requirements.
Can you build to our existing facility drive standards?
Yes. We regularly build using customer-specified drive hardware from ABB, Siemens, Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley), Schneider Electric, Danfoss, Eaton, and others.
Do all panels come with serialized UL certification labels?
Yes. Every panel is built in our certified panel shop and ships with serialized UL 508A, UL 698A, or UL 1203 listing labels and complete schematic documentation.
How are panels tested prior to delivery?
Each panel undergoes point-to-point continuity checks, insulation resistance (megger) testing, and live power functional bench testing with configured motor parameters.
Do you provide CAD drawings and schematics?
Yes. Full AutoCAD electrical schematics, component bills of material (BOM), terminal schedules, and panel layout submittal packages are provided with every quote and build.
